Elizabeth Pulton-Gomez has worked in the performing arts for 30 years. She has worked in youth programming and education with the Canadian Opera Company and the Living Arts Center in Toronto. The Arts Umbrella and Vancouver Youth Theatre in Vancouver in addition to running her own successful studio, Stage It Performing Arts in Oakville for 12 years. Elizabeth has been a private voice coach for twenty five years and has worked with different organizations in Ontario and Vancouver. She is now coaching for Long an Mcquade for the past two years, hosting performances and recitals, giving workshops on performance and one on one management advice to her pre- professional students. Elizabeth took groups of students to New York with Music Theatre International to attend Broadway workshops and had a senior group of students perform in Disney World and participated in Disney Broadway workshops in recording, Music Theatre and choreography, Elizabeth herself attended the Broadway Teachers Workshop in New York and has done work with Stagecoach in Canada as well. Finishing upgrading her music education with courses in singing, piano and pedagogy swell as management with the Berklee school is Music. Elizabeth looks forward to a wonderful year of singing and performance!
Hi Everyone! September all ready the beginning of another fantastic year!
This year I really emphasized performance, career coaching and offered my students many performance opportunities! I got to flex some of my own performing skills at my recitals and have loved getting back on stage! My students have done incredible work this year in performing, songwriting and vocal technique. I have added a huge amount of pop vocal technique to my teaching practice and love genre hopping! From preparing students for school musical parts and auditions to preparing other pre professional students to take a leap, find their niche and get on stage! Very excited to introduce a few new workshops and classes this fall as well! I continue to career coach and manage some of my more professional students. Researching, identifying and assisting them to find gigs, and paid performance opportunities in the GTA. Encouraging them to market and promote themselves and giving tips on how to create a personal brand on their socials. I have advised and given referrals to graduating youth this year for unique and specific college programs at the diploma, bachelor degree level in music, music engineering. I have done this throughout my career for students applying to programs in theatre, dance, improv, writing, directing, film and all aspects of the arts and entertainment industries. Guiding parents and students through every step of the application and audition process, for post secondary education in the arts and many other areas of study.
