Hi Everyone! June all ready the end of another fantastic year!
This year I really emphasized performance, career coaching and offered my students many performance opportunities! I got to flex some of my own performing skills at my recitals and have loved getting back on stage! My students have done incredible work this year in performing, songwriting and vocal technique. I have added a huge amount of pop vocal technique to my teaching practice and love genre hopping! From preparing students for school musical parts and auditions to preparing other pre professional students to take a leap, find their niche and get on stage! I have received several testimonials from parents and professional students this year that I will post here as well! We added a Senior concert and will be holding an open mic this summer, very excited to introduce a few new workshops and classes this fall as well! I continue to career coach and manage some of my more professional students. Researching,s identifying and assisting them to find gigs, and paid performance opportunities in the GTA. Encouraging them to market and promote themselves and giving tips on how to create a personal brand on their socials. I have advised and given referrals to graduating youth this year for unique and specific college programs at the diploma, bachelor degree level in music, music engineering. I have done this throughout my career for students applying to programs in theatre, dance, improv, writing, directing, film and all aspects of the arts and entertainment industries. Guiding parents and students through every step of the application and audition process, for post secondary education in the arts and many other areas of study. BIO
Elizabeth Pulton-Gomez has assisted studios and aspiring artists alike. With her strong background in programming and development, producing and directing youth theatre, Elizabeth has a wealth of experience and expertise in the performing arts. She has worked with many large organizations including the Canadian Opera Company, The Sound of Music Festival and the Living Arts Centre in Toronto, The Arts Umbrella and Vancouver Youth Theatre in Vancouver in education and outreach and recently Stagecoach Performing Arts. Elizabeth created and very successfully ran her own performing arts studio for youth in Oakville Ontario , Stage It Performing Arts. She worked in schools with the Travelling Stage in Ontario. Elizabeth works alongside some wonderful professional artists as an instructor. In addition she assists to organize and coordinate performances, workshop and volunteer opportunities for arts organizations. Elizabeth is continuously upgrading her skills in music education and developing new skills in the arts. She is currently pursuing additional diplomas and certification with the famous Berklee School of Music in Boston in Music and is finishing her certificate with the Berklee School this year. She has been enjoying assisting young songwriters and students of all ages including adults in voice, expression and performance!
